Використання надбань релігійної етики у вихованні духовно-моральної особистості

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of spirituality and uniqueness of a person in terms of religious ethics. The possibilities of its achievements` usage in the process of a personality`s moral education are analyzed by the authors. Education now requires changes oriented not to the past but to the future of human civilization, which is rapidly changing the paradigm of its development. Globalization, integration and other humanistic processes in the society encourage modern education to consider a new educational model – multicultural education, designed to ensure well balanced relations between people of different faiths, ethnic groups, social classes, subcultures in the modern society. The multicultural education must be based on the spiritual and moral values, the principles of tolerant religious ethics. The efforts are to be directed not to thepromotion of the religious principles and laws, but to the cultivating the need for respect the personal dignity of each person, support the weak, small and old (as it is suggested by the Christian precepts), tolerance, peace, mercy. The school is to prepare young people for cultural and ideological dialogue, the polyphony of thinking; teach to differentiate between what is valuable and harmful; absorb only useful things different philosophical concepts.
