Abstract

The report is devoted to the problem of rethinking strategies for the development of higher education based on the priority of еру personal approach, both in the formal aspect (the transition to student-focused learning and individual educational trajectories, that is, assertion of student as a subject of the educational process), and in it essence (the priority of the formation of a multilaterally developed human personality over a narrow professional competence as the mission of the university). Philosophy and disciplines of the humanitarian cycle are noted to be of decisive importance in the implementation of such a task, which is justified, among other things, by the challenges of the situation of the contemporary world, characterized by complexity and uncertainty, and therefore requiring not ‘ready-made’ knowledge, but critically thinking and creatively acting personalities capable of creating new knowledge.
