Abstract

A method for regulation of electric power system operation comprises measuring voltages in the electric network control points, measuring currents in the system control cross sections, measuring current power value transmitted through the power transmission lines, shaping a signal proportional to economical losses caused by the deviation of power overflowing in the control cross-sections from the nominal power, measuring electric system frequency; determination of sensitivity of system operation parameters to deviation of nodal power; shaping a signal proportional to economical losses caused by deviation of frequency from the nominal value, summation of said signal with the signal which proportional to economical losses caused by the deviation of power overflowing relatively to the nominal power in the control cross-sections; the comparison of the obtained signal and a signal proportional to economically justified losses determined by properties and technological operating conditions of the electric network, which is a regulation setting; shaping signals to change the structure of the electric network depending on the results of said comparison.
