Abstract

In connection with increase of consumption of thermal energy, increasing prices of fossil fuels, increase the environmental requirements for the production of thermal energy rose, the need to use energy of the sun for heat supply purposes. Evaluated the potential total solar energy during the year for the city of Kyiv, choose the best angle of the solar collectors to ensure hot water supply. As to ensure year-round hot water supply and heating of the solar energy is not enough, explores options for an additional source of heat. The analysis of combining solar power plants with other sources of thermal energy with the use of environmental indicators on the basis of the life cycle and technical-economic indicators. It is established that environmental indicators are the best option to heat supply is a combination of solar collectors with heat pump, and on the techno-economic - solar collectors with a gas boiler.
