Загальна мобілізація є традиційним способом швидкого збільшення чисельності армії у разі збройного конфлікту. Проте багато країн переходять до системи рекрутингу, яка передбачає добровільний набір контрактників. Дана стаття аналізує переваги та недоліки рекрутингу в порівнянні з загальною мобілізацією.

Covert mobilization is a traditional way of quickly increasing the size of the army in the event of an outbreak of conflict. It’s best to move on to the recruiting system, which transfers voluntary recruitment of contract workers. This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of recruiting compared to outside mobilization. Recruiting is an effective alternative to underground mobilization, especially for a favorable prospect. In the event of a full-scale war, this method may be insufficient for a rapid increase in military forces. The optimal option would be to combine a system that combines a contract army with the possibility of partial mobilization as needed.
