The relevance of the concept of continuous education (Life-long learning) in the conditions of rapid development of electronic communications and instrumentation is considered. Strategies of professional adaptation for university graduates and alternative ways of entering the profession are analyzed. The scientific novelty of the work consists in the systematization of self-education methods taking into account modern artificial intelligence tools.
