Fire-resistant coatings based on industrial waste

Abstract

Встановлено, використання відходів металургійної та хімічної промисловості дає можливість отримання ефективних композиційних вогнестійких матеріал. Такий матеріал т може бути використаний для виготовлення вогнезахисних покриттів та для захисту будівельних конструкцій від високих температур. Випробування механічної стійкості композиційного матеріалу до високих температур показали, втрата міцності не перевищує 10 - 12 % при нагріванні зразків до 700°C .

It has been established that the use of metallurgical and chemical industry waste enables the production of effective composite fire-resistant materials. Such material can be used to manufacture fire-retardant coatings and to protect building structures high temperatures. Tests of the composite material\"s mechanical stability at high temperatures demonstrated that the loss of strength does not exceed 10–12% when samples are heated to 700°C.
