Теоретичні передумови розробки курсу «Сучасні перекладацькі технології. Системи автоматизації перекладу»

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the theoretical basis for the development of the translation technologies course, in particular computer-aided tools. The author lists a number of tasks which have to be solved to develop the course. They include the following: to determine the optimal number of computer-aided tools (CAT-tools) to be taught to future translators; to select specific CAT-tools which are to be included into the structure of the course; to determine the semester appropriate for introducing the course; to analyze types of exercises that will form the system of exercises; to select texts on which the exercises will be based; to develop criteria of assessing knowledge and skills acquired by students in the process of studying the course. The article lists possible solutions to the tasks set.
