Abstract

The necessity for a healthy lifestyle today causes neither doubt, nor objection. Every year statistics show a decrease in the physiological and mental health of young people, which negatively affects the demographic situation in the country as a whole. In today's socio-economic conditions, there is an urgent need to consider the concept of "learning effectiveness" from the standpoint of healthcare. The article considers the importance of pedagogical science in solving a socially im-portant problem of health care for children, adolescents and students through the involvement of a healthy and safe lifestyle; theoretical knowledge on this issue is analyzed. There have been considered the factors that negatively affect the health of young people. The authors of the article draw attention to the problem of assessing the effectiveness of education, human development and the preservation of health. The directions of pedagogical activity, the development of specific approaches, health-saving technologies, forms and methods of pedagogical actions, which would positively influence the process of education and upbringing of pupils' youth for the purpose of safety, preservation and strengthening of their health, are ana-lyzed. Keeping the health of schoolchildren and young people, on which the health of the following generations depends, is an important public task. The authors emphasize that the full implementation of healthcare-saving educational technologies is possible in the case of simultaneous coverage of all components and components of both the educational system as a whole and the formation of a healthy lifestyle. The purpose and tasks of the work are: analysis of the research of domestic and foreign authors on this topic; providing recommendations for the formation of health and safety culture students.
