Development of new bidirectional reflectance distribution functions for highly realistic images formation

Abstract

In the work, the development of new bidirectional reflectance distribution functions to ensure the formation of highly realistic three-dimensional images is discussed. The features of the developed bidirectional reflectance distribution functions, which lie in the improvement and approximation of existing functions, the combination of individual functions, and in the calculation of normalizing coefficients for the functions, are analyzed. Recommendations for adaptive ion of bidirectional reflectance distribution functions are provided.
