Abstract

A thermal model of an induction motor with asymmetric multi-zone stator windings is developed on the basis of the method of multibodies thermal schemes. The use of the space-state method for solving the equations of the thermal model has been proposed. It has been established that using a multi-zone stator winding leads to a decrease in the engine temperature at a constant resistance moment. It has been established that the minimum losses in induction motor with multi-zone stator windings occur at the same power of the individual half-windings.
