Типи оповідачів у сучасних англомовних романах (Л. Ердріч “Love medicine” та Л. Хоган “Mean spirit”)

Abstract

The article presents a theoretical review of various classifications of the narrator type in the text. The definition of a narrator is given. In particular, attention is focused on the peculiarities of the use of the types of narrator in the novels \"Love Medicine\" L. Erdrich and \"Mean Spirit\" L. Hogan. The material of the analyzed artistic texts focuses on the linguistic means of creating different types of narrator in the given novels. In the practical part of the work, lexical-grammatical, stylistic, semantic, syntactic markers for identifying one or another type of narrators in the novels “Love Medicine” and “Mean Spirit” are analyzed and identified.
