Abstract

The article considers the topical issue of forming the emotional component of the professional competence of future medical specialists. Given the high level of emotional stress in medical work, the development of emotional intelligence and emotional self-regulation skills is an important aspect of professional training. The role of emotions in the regulation of professional activity, their impact on the effectiveness of communication with patients and the prevention of emotional burnout are analysed. The main directions of development of emotional competence in the process of professional training are outlined. The importance of integrating the emotional component into the educational process as an important factor in improving the quality of medical services and preserving the mental health of specialists is determined.
