Система передтекстових завдань під час роботи з іншомовними фаховими текстами

Abstract

The article proves that the Ukrainian language for foreign students is not only a subject of study, but also a means of personal development, an instrument for the formation of professional competence. It is noted that foreigners have to master such activity as reading and analysis of professional literature for successful use of the Ukrainian language in verbal and written business communication. It is specified that during studying the Ukrainian as a foreign language for the purpose of professional communication, future specialists need to pay special attention to the mastery of terminology. Features of professionally oriented text, on the basis of which foreign students study linguistic processes and phenomena are characterized. The main types of pre-text tasks for working with foreign-language vocational texts are presented, taking into account the experience of linguadidactics of our country and foreign lingvodidactics. Various types of tasks are proposed, which can be used for enriching the vocabulary of foreign students, for teaching students the correct methods of professional communication, for developing linguistic skills and abilities. Different ways of introducing new words into the vocabulary of foreign students are presented. It is established that study of grammar during the work with vocational topics is the result of a deductive method – from the learning of rules to the observation of the phenomenon in the scientific text. It is found out that the skills developed during the study of the discipline “Ukrainian for foreigners” will allow students to acquire knowledge independently, engage timely to the source material of professional information, develop literacy skills, and promote the culture of speech. The skills and abilities of foreign language reading, identified by methodologists, are analyzed, and those are determined which are to be formed in foreign students according to three groups of training and compensatory skills of professionally oriented learning: language skills and compensatory skills related to understanding of linguistic material (ensure the accuracy of understanding); abilities that provide understanding of the contents of the text (full comprehension); skills that provide processing of selected realworld information (depth of understanding).

У статті зазначено, що українська мова для іноземних студентів – не тільки навчальний предмет, але й засіб розвитку особистості, інструмент формування професійної компетенції. Охарактеризовано особливості професійно орієнтованого тексту, на основі якого іноземні студенти вивчають мовні процеси та явища. Представлено основні типи передтекстових завдань для роботи з іншомовним фаховим текстом з урахуванням досвіду вітчизняної та зарубіжної лінгводидактики. Запропоновано різноманітні види завдань, які можуть бути використані для збагачення словникового запасу іноземних студентів, навчання студентів правильних прийомів професійного спілкування, вироблення лінгвістичних навичок. Представлено різні способи введення нових слів у лексикон іноземних студентів.
