A brief overview of automated equipment for the manufacture of reinforcing steel products is given. The factors that have the greatest influence on the technical characteristics of automated equipment for the manufacture of reinforcing steel products are determined. The most common types of drives used in automated equipment for the manufacture of reinforcing steel products are identified, and their main advantages in the manufacturing process are revealed.
