У роботі розглянуто вплив творчості американського піаніста Джорджа Ґершвіна на становлення «класичного» джазу та стрімку популяризацію цього стилю у США на початку XX ст.

The work examines the influence of the work of the American pianist George Gershwin on the formation of «classic» jazz and the rapid popularization of this style in the USA on the beginning of the XX century.
