Перифраза як різновид вторинної номінації

Abstract

У дослідженні з’ясовано сутність поняття перифрази, особливості її використання в ЗМІ та літературі. Встановлено, що перифрази мають власне номінативну та емоційно-експресивну функції. За допомогою перифраз уникають повторів та формують у підсвідомості читачів або слухачів певні образи та асоціації.

The research clarifies the essence of the concept of periphrasis, the peculiarities of its use in the media and literature. It is established that periphrases have their own nominative and emotional-expressive functions. With the help of paraphrases they avoid repetitions and form certain images and associations in the subconscious of readers or listeners.
