Modern methods of protecting the population from natural emergencies

Abstract

The paper considers modern methods for protecting the population from natural emergencies, including monitoring, alerting, evacuation, and sheltering systems. The effectiveness of preventive measures and the role of digital technologies in minimizing disaster consequences are analyzed. Key directions for improving the existing civil protection systems are identified.

У роботі розглянуто сучасні методи захисту населення від надзвичайних ситуацій природного характеру, зокрема системи моніторингу, оповіщення, евакуації та укриття. Проаналізовано ефективність превентивних заходів і роль цифрових технологій у мінімізації наслідків катастроф. Визначено ключові напрями вдосконалення існуючих систем цивільного захисту.
