Abstract

The article deals with the issue of developing foreign language competence as an important factor in enhancing the professional competitiveness of future specialists in the field of radio engineering. In the context of growing international cooperation and the need to use foreign technical documentation, foreign language proficiency is becoming a key requirement for modern radio engineers. The article analyses the role of foreign language training in the development of professional skills and career opportunities for graduates of technical universities. The influence of effective organisation of the educational process, the use of specialised teaching materials and innovative methods on the level of foreign language competence is considered. The importance of developing communication skills in a professional context and using practice-oriented tasks to increase students' motivation and readiness for future professional activities is substantiated.
