| dc.description.abstract | Sustainable development of bioenergy makes it possible to reduce Ukraine's dependence on expensive imported energy sources and ensure the effective use of local resource potential. The transition to the use of biomass for energy needs will contribute to the development of the local economy due to the receipt of taxes and fees, and at the state level will lead to an improvement in the country's trade and payment balance due to a decrease in energy imports. A positive social impact is also expected, associated with the creation of new jobs, a decrease in thermal energy tariffs and an increase in the reliability of heat supply. Bioenergy plays an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, which is especially relevant in connection with the problem of global warming and climate change. | en |
