Власні імена у графіті софії київської: мовні та культурні аспекти

Abstract

Дослідження присвячено аналізу написів-графіті Софійського собору в Києві як автентичного джерела для вивчення історії української мови. Основну увагу зосереджено на функціонуванні власних імен у текстах графіті XI–XVII століть. На основі аналізу молитовних формул та пам'ятних записів досліджено сакральну й номінативну функції імен, а також їхню морфологічну адаптацію до східнослов’янської словозмінної системи.

The research focuses on the analysis of egraffiti inscriptions of St. Sophia's Cathedral in Kyiv as an authentic source for studying the history of the Ukrainian language. The primary focus is on the functioning of anthroponyms in in the graffiti texts of the 11th–17th centuries. Based on the analysis of prayer formulas and memorial records, the sacral and nominative functions of names are examined, along with their morphological adaptation to the East Slavic inflectional system. The paper traces the chronological evolution of the anthroponymic system: from autochthonous Slavic two-stem names to two-component structures (name + patronymic or nickname).
