The paper examines the works of Ukrainian artists of the Sixtiers as a form of cultural and ideological resistance to the Soviet system. Using the examples of Opanas Zalyvaha, Alla Horska, and Viktor Zaretskyi, the study explores how these artists brought to light the forbidden themes of national history and identity.
