dc.description.abstract | This work deals with the digital transformation of language education within technical universities, focusing on its challenges and opportunities. It explores the integration of language learning into specialized curricula, addressing tensions between maintaining technical rigor and fostering multilingual communication skills. Key challenges include the need for faculty training in digital pedagogy, significant investments in infrastructure, and the adaptation of teaching methodologies to digital tools. Despite these obstacles, the study highlights opportunities for international collaboration, such as joint programs and virtual exchanges, which foster intercultural competence and global citizenship. The adoption of digital technologies is also emphasized as a means to enhance inclusivity by tailoring language education to diverse student needs. Furthermore, the work aligns with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) objectives, promoting multilingualism and intercultural dialogue. Overall, this research contributes to advancing innovative strategies for language education that prepare technical university graduates for success in a globalized and interconnected world. | en |
