Abstract
This work examines the design features of modern graphics pipelines used in real-time computer graphics,
scientific visualization, and virtual and augmented reality systems. The evolution of graphics pipelines is analyzed,
tracing their development fixed-function architectures to programmable multi-stage systems optimized for
maximum utilization of GPU computing resources. The role of shader technologies, compute modules, ray tracing, and
artificial intelligence algorithms in shaping new approaches to image synthesis is investigated. Furthermore, the paper
reviews modern geometric processing optimization tools, GPU resource management methods, and development
prospects for hybrid graphics pipelines.
