Застосування нейронних мереж для оцінки шахових позицій

Abstract

У роботі досліджено застосування нейронної мережі для оцінки шахових позицій. Навчання здійснюється на основі оцінок шахового рушія Stockfish. Запропоновано модель, яка отримує на вході тензорне представлення позиції розміром 8x8x12 та апроксимує функцію оцінки позиції у постановці регресії.

The paper investigates the use of a neural network for chess position evaluation. The model is trained on labels generated by the Stockfish chess engine. Positions are represented as an 8x8x12 tensor, and the task is formulated as a regression problem. The experimental comparison with a classical material evaluation heuristic showed the advantage of the neural approach.
