Abstract
This work examines the cross-curricular integration of English language learning with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) disciplines as a strategic pathway to fostering sustainable development competencies among engineering students. Drawing upon the framework of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), this study explores how English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction can be reimagined as a vehicle for developing both linguistic proficiency and sustainability literacy when systematically integrated with technical content across the curriculum.
