Анотації
This paper presents the design and implementation of a web-based electronic
gradebook and school diary to support transparent, fair, and timely assessment in educational
institutions. We formulate the problem of fragmented grading workflows, weak interoperability with
school information systems, and compliance risks under European data-protection law. The study
reports on the requirements analysis, architecture, and core modules (grade entry, rubrics,
attendance, reporting, and parent–student portals), as well as interoperability via OneRoster APIs
and privacy-by-design safeguards. The solution embeds formative-assessment principles and
learning-analytics summaries to enhance feedback without inflating teacher workload. We conclude
with lessons learned and a roadmap for pilot evaluation and institutional rollout.
